The chART (Charleston Art) Outdoor Initiative, more views (Avondale Community, Charleston, SC)

Last January I wrote about the chART (Charleston Art) Outdoor Initiative along Savannah (Highway Highway 17 North) in West Ashley's Avondale Community (in Charleston, South Carolina).  I posted a number of images from that visit, and when I went back to see what was new this past September, I wasn't disappointed - there was an explosion of new work, and the wall that was being painted during my first visit, was finished (the image above).  This is such a fun place - and if you are planning a trip down Highway 17 through Charleston, please don't forget to fit in a stop here (especially if it is a Sunday morning, where parking is plentiful and you get better views of the work).

It is a frequent detour for me now so I keep up with all the progress on the murals.
